PAYTM × FLIP KASIR · INDONESIA · 2026
Launching a white-labelled attendance and workforce platform for Flip Kasir’s growing sales-agent network in Indonesia.
01 / THE CONTEXT
Flip Kasir partnered with Paytm as it expanded its merchant operations in Indonesia. The opportunity was to provide a white-labelled workforce product for the partner’s sales agents—a practical system for attendance, team meetings, work-time visibility and day-to-day field operations.
The foundation already existed in India. The product challenge was to make that foundation configurable enough for a smaller, fast-growing market, a new local operating model and a new language without rebuilding the experience from scratch.
02 / WHAT MOVED
03 / THE PRODUCT

Representative identity capture and confirmation states from the workforce experience. The launched product was localised for Indonesia.
04 / THE JOURNEY
Agents begin with a focused home experience designed around their daily operational needs.
A clear attendance action helps agents record the start of work and teams maintain day-to-day visibility.
A lightweight identity confirmation supports confidence that the right person is completing the check-in.
Attendance and team-meeting workflows help local operations teams organise the field workforce.
Teams have the visibility they need to manage activity as the partner workforce grows.
05 / PRODUCT JUDGMENT
Language, approved local services, geolocation needs and operational workflows had to work for Indonesia while preserving a coherent core experience.
A different escalation model surfaced a product constraint. I helped turn that market-specific logic into a more configurable foundation that could support future expansion.
The first release was intentionally focused. We paired a small pilot with close support for the local team, then continued shipping improvements as the workforce expanded.
06 / HOW I BUILT IT
I worked directly with Indonesia business and operations teams to understand their workflows, shape product requirements and coordinate delivery alongside a program manager.
We began with 5% of the workforce, used the initial rollout to resolve operational needs, and then expanded to the complete partner cohort.
I balanced urgency with a platform approach, making changes that could support a new market without creating a one-off product branch.
07 / WHAT I LEARNED
“International expansion is not a translation exercise. It is the work of making a product flexible enough to respect a new market without losing the clarity of its core.”
